Support Forum

Does a license plate come with a used vehicle?

We send all vehicles with a temporary license plate that is good for 30 days. When you receive your title, you simply take that, with your bill of sale, to your local DMV and get your permanent plates. You will have to pay the registration fee, which varies depending on your vehicle and your province.

When will I receive the title for my vehicle?

Your title is processed by the Nova Scotia DMV and then sent to you through Canada Post. Typical processing time for the title is 7-10 days, and then Canada post takes approximately 3-4 days to deliver. The temporary plate that your vehicle was delivered with is good for 30 days, so you should receive it well before it expires.
